Tomorrow ARSOFT will show its new product, ARmuseum, at the Technology Ventures Conference (TVC) in Cambridge. With this innovative product, visits to museums and cultural interest buildings will no longer be the same.
ARmuseum works in smartphones and tablets and it allows museum visitors to enjoy a fully guided Augmented Reality tour with a virtual guide that can explain the different art works within the museum.
ARmuseum is a perfect replacement fo the obsolete audio guides that we are used to seeing in museums. ARmuseum not only provides the same information as the audio guides, but increases it and shows it in an interactive and impressive way.
The way it works is simple: we point our smartphone towards any piece of art in the museum and ARnold, our virtual guide, will automatically appear and talk to us about whatever we are looking at and will also show us images and related videos.
But ARmuseum still has more to offer, it can also guide us through the interior of the museum to a specific art piece, to the nearest bathroom, to an emergency exit …
ARmuseum can also be a great tool for learning: ARnold can ask us different questions and he will also suggest different games based on the paintings we have visited, so we can see how much we have learned. This could be great for school trips and family activities.
ARmuseum offers a unique combination of past, present and future. Visitors will enjoy a whole new experience in a place they might already be familiar with. All this thanks to Augmented Reality technologies that will leave everyone amazed.
If you were wondering how to make your museum more attractive, here you have an answer. Step ahead and be one of the first to offer the latest technology. Contact us and we will surprise you with what we can do with any kind of building or space.
This first video show some of the options that the first version of ARmuseum offers.
