ARSOFT Receives the Innovation and Digitalization Accésit Award at the 2024 PYME Awards

These awards, organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander, in collaboration with the Salamanca Chamber of Commerce and the newspaper La Gaceta de Salamanca, recognize the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, whose activity is essential for job creation and wealth generation.

ARSOFT has been honored in the 8th edition of the 2024 PYME Awards with the Innovation and Digitalization Accésit Award. Its CEO, Santiago González Izard, received the award from the mayor of Salamanca, Carlos García Carbayo, during a ceremony held at the Salamanca Chamber of Commerce.

The jury recognized ARSOFT’s strong trajectory in research, innovation, and the development of 3D technologies for sectors such as industry, defense, and healthcare.

EYEFLOW: Revolutionizing the Industry with Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality

ARSOFT focuses on two specific areas: Industry and Healthcare. Its goal has always been to add value to these sectors with innovative proposals based on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality technologies. In this regard, ARSOFT has developed EYEFLOW, a platform that allows industrial companies to create virtual content on their own, reducing by more than 90% the time and cost required for the creation of Virtual Reality simulators, Augmented Reality manuals, and virtual content in general, making these technologies more accessible.

LAIA XR: Precision and Safety in the Medical Field

In the medical sector, ARSOFT has developed LAIA XR, a platform that allows the visualization of medical images such as Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) using 3D vision technologies like Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality. Through proprietary artificial vision and artificial intelligence algorithms developed by ARSOFT, 3D reconstructions of a patient's anatomy can be created, isolating different anatomical regions, allowing surgeons to study the patient’s anatomy, plan surgery in a safe and precise virtual environment, and consult surgical planning and 3D reconstructions during the surgery using Mixed Reality.

According to Santiago González, “this award is a recognition of the work of a great team of professionals specializing in XR solutions (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality). It is their effort and dedication that have positioned ARSOFT as a reference for companies, individuals, and society as a whole.”

This award adds to a list of recognitions that further strengthen ARSOFT's ability to adapt and lead in XR technologies in an ever-changing technological environment. Their pursuit of excellence and, above all, their dedication to client satisfaction have allowed them to grow and receive acknowledgments like this.
